First of all, one person doesn't constitute a "committee." Secondly, he was only over for an hour, so there aren't a lot of details. Thirdly, even though he said he'll see me again, I have my doubts.

The editorial control committee called and told me that, "Rachele can't just leave a two sentence post about #19, and think that there won't be any consequences." I'm apt to agree. You might find that a more disclosing author has hacked into your blog and posted a full account (likely fiction) as to your experiences with Naughty Teacher. Imagine your readers' dropping jaws and your blushing face when said hacker fills in the void that you've created by your two-sentence crumb of a post. We need details! Pronto!

I have to remember that Match.com represents a large slice of the population. Don't be sorry for me because there are several great guys out there, too. I just think I've been spoiled since I'm used to dating within my own social circle and they tend to be a little more educated than the general population.

I was going to say that Mr. 36 year-old could have been e-mailing drunk, but the fact that his profile was just as bad undermines my hypothesis. Also, even a 6th grader should know the difference between "eather" and "either" -- one, of course, being an actual word. Mistaking "right" for "write" is an altogether different mistake, something similar to "two" for "too" (which I've, unfortunately, seen before). I'm sorry that Match.com is delivering such poor candidates.

The photos that people submit aren't always accurate. I recognized him, but he was balding and had a VERY bad complexion. Not every guy I've dated has been a twig! They've all been athletic, so they tend to be leaner. (Are you buying this yet?)

Wow! That is a really nice picture of Tiff and I. Could I have a copy? Those pics are funny! Bill doing the hand sign thang (that Lily usually does)..lol

Nice camera and great shooting!

Dang! I too wish that I had my camera because as I was running, two flocks of Trumpeter Swans flew overhead. They have massive wingspans and are quite beutiful. This has been my third trek up to Nookachamps and this year was the first time that I had actually seen those birds.

Do you remember last year when they were serving "broath" after the race? lol..we now call that place the Land of Broath

I love running in "fresh" snow. Running around Seward Park is quite relaxing..no birds chirping..the only sound I hear while running is the muffled crunching of snow and my breathing.

Yep, I enjoy the snow, and Nookachamps was fun. There were a few icy patches, but it was still a joyous event.
Good job! Your dad would/should be proud.

When you first mentioned Torx, I thought you had one of those big/long Torque wrench! "Working with the BIG tools" I was thinking but after seeing the illustration of the Torx Screw, I now know what you mean.

There was one time several years ago when I had a Toyota Tercel with the boom box system inside it. Hehe..it was a car that could have had hydrolics but that would be just too silly for such a light car! (It would be too silly no matter what car it would have been) Anyway, I had four subwoofers in the back with a Carver Amp feeding 200 watts into them. To secure the Amp down into the trunk, we used a combination of screws (including a few Torx Screws) just in case someone would break into the car and attempt to steal the equipment, he/she would need several types of screw drivers in order to get the equipment off!! There's nothing like pissing off those that want to take stuff from you. heheheh!
You do have a pretty cool blog Rachele. Thanks for sharing! See ya Saturday.
Interesting discussion on the rating scale - I'll have to think about this some more.

Now - I saw #13's picture before you went out with him - I know he did not look like a twig - but he did look athletic. So was your assessment that he wasn't twiggy enough:)?

The Herb Farm is one of those places that regularly requires reservations to be arranged months in advance. This is not some casual invitation to a nice restaurant -- it's akin to inviting you on a weekend away. Maybe he even arranged for an after-dinner suite at the Herbfarm's Willows Lodge. I'm surprised that you would even entertain the thought of going out with a 40 year-old, single parent. There's something to be said about dipping your toes in a new pool, but can't you tell when the water is stagnant?
